A SHOCKING LOOK INSIDE

CHINA'S FUR FARMS

(warning: intensely graphic)

When undercover investigators made their way

onto Chinese fur farms recently, they found that

many animals are still alive and struggling

desperately when workers flip them onto

their backs or hang them up by their legs or

tails to skin them. When workers on these

farms begin to cut the skin and fur from an

animal's leg, the free limbs kick and writhe.

Workers stomp on the necks and heads of animals

who struggle too hard to allow a clean cut.

When the fur is finally peeled off over the

animals' heads, their naked, bloody bodies

are thrown onto a pile of those who have gone

before them. Some are still alive, breathing in

ragged gasps and blinking slowly. Some of the

animals' hearts are still beating five to 10 minutes

after they are skinned. One investigator recorded

a skinned raccoon dog on the heap of carcasses

who had enough strength to lift his bloodied

head and stare into the camera.

Please help by pledging to be fur-free and/or

donating to end this horrible torture.

CT PRISON TORTURES WOODCHUCKS

Whistleblowers at the Carl Robinson

Correctional Facility in Enfield, Connecticut,

informed US that trappers are capturing

woodchucks in cruel body-gripping traps,

which are placed at the entrances to the

animals dens. The trappers then bludgeon

the animals who survive these traps before

stuffing them while they are still alive

inside plastic bags.

THE BASICS OF THIS SITE

ABOUT SITE:

I started this site on February 13, 1998.

Although it is not charity based, it is an agent in the education &

awareness of our fellow planet dwellers and an aide in helping animal

related organizations and/or shelters, even if it means the signing

of petitions. Although this site is based mostly on

Connecticut feline issues, I have also included instances where

you will find ways to help in various other topics in other states

and countries concerning our living world.

Much of the info you find throughout these pages are

from personal experiences and research due to

personal experiences.

You may find some things here very disturbing but necessary

for what this site is about in the ever serious issues that are

real & are happening... everywhere but there are also some

wonderful, beautiful, joyous & tickle your ribs sections.

If you are in Connecticut and would like the assistance from this site

concerning the welfare of our felines, please email me.

NAVIGATION:

Just look for the paw prints on the left of every page.

Throughout individual pages there will be links to other sites as aides in

petition signatures or information in relation to that particular issue.

GRAPHICS:

Unless otherwise stated or linked elsewhere, ALL the

graphics you'll see I have designed myself specifically for this site &

prefer they not be used elsewhere.

Copyright is located at the bottom of every page.

This is my no more cruelty ribbon.

I've seen so many out there and wanted one of my own with my insignia colors and my own personal touch.

This is also the ribbon I wear in honor

of the Purple Page For Pets Day,

the annual silent protest to make animal

abuse a felony.
