THINGS YOU CAN DO

 

Paws For A Cause, a non-profit group in Norwich, Ct... has decided to have pet

food drives in the winter to help family's who may have money problems during the

winter due to heating bills and the holidays. This organization needs donations of

cat & dog food. If you know of someone who may need help with food in

this area, please have them either call at: (860) 889-5010

or stop by: A Happy Pet Grooming Parlor at:

159 Sachem Street, Norwich CT.

They will be keeping drive going all winter long.

 

DO SOMETHING.ORG

Help animals no matter how pressed for time you are.

We know you're busy with homework and life ... but you also love animals.

Who doesn't? There's just something about those beautiful eyes that

pull at our heart strings... So no matter how much time you have

on your hands (or don't have), you can do something to stop animal cruelty!

As I have a few select petition sites here, these are the places that have the ability to

petitions on animal & environmental issues as well as many other

BOYCOTTING

Sometimes all it takes is to not buy products of companies that take part in issues we

are against. We must remember that most of all this torment and misery is due to

greed and vanity therefore we must hit their shallow priorities where it will

hurt them most... in the pocket as this can hurt them more than words alone.

 

 

LETTERS & CALLS

You can write these individuals about your concerns (you can find some of these

lists on my Resources page). If you ever hear about anything concerning animal

cruelty... write letters. If you read in the paper that someone has committed a

cruelty to an animal... write a letter to the editor.

If it concerns a court date and you wish to request stiffer prosecutions...

write a letter to the judicial system. There is no end to letter writing. 

One suggestion, please try and keep it professional and non threatening.

HELP STOP KOREA'S ILLEGAL TORTURE

Many Koreans believe that if one eats meat from cats & dogs who have been tortured

to death, it will make them more sexually active. They are hung from ropes & slowly

strangled to death, and while still alive, their fur is blowtorched off!!

Cats are boiled alive or beaten to death in sacks on sidewalks.

They are tortured in any number of other ways that a sick mind can think of!
